Ricosta Shoes

In 1955 Ricosta became a registered brand (Rieker and CO STAbil.) In 1968 Roland Riker lead the company into independence and established Ricosta as the brand for modern shoes for children and teens.

In 1978 Pepino was introduced for smaller children. In 1994 Ricosta became the first shoe manufacturer to injection-mould non- toxic, light polyurethane soles directly to the uppers without using adhesives. Today they produce around 2,000,000 pairs of shoes a year. They start a an EU18 (UK 2) and go up to an EU43 (UK 9.)
